Joby David, RN, a Slate Hill resident and employee of the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, received the Department of Veterans Affairs Hands and Heart Award. The award was given on Friday, April 16, 2010, by Joanne J. Malina, MD and Gerald Culliton, Director. The award is the highest honor for sustained compassionate direct patient care given by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
Ms. David earned this distinguished honor for her commitment, expert knowledge, and dedication in providing quality health care to the Veterans of the Hudson Valley.
